It is for the third time that we have become the author of a fight choreography! This time for the “Hamlet” theatre play staged by “Yorick” student theatre.
At the end of the year, we traditionally cooperated with the “Yorick” student theatre that operates as part of St. Thomas Aquinas’ Schools in Józefów. We have prepared a choreography of a rapier fight between Hamlet and Laertes in the classical “Hamlet” theatre play. The actors fought with the weapons according to the teachings of the Spanish rapier school—La Verdadera Destreza. Jędrzej Jakubowski and Konrad Świderek were the creators of the choreography and trainers of the actors.
The play was staged twice: on 17 December 2022 at the school theatre and on 13 January 2023 at the Municipal Culture Centre in Józefów.
