From 28 August 2022 to 4 September 2022, Motus HEMA Summer Camp 2022 will take place in Bulgaria. 6 days of HEMA training sessions await all participants.
It is the fourteenth HEMA camp organised by the Bulgarian school Motus. The organisers have announced 6 days of intensive training divided into morning and evening sessions. These include lectures and seminars on mediaeval sources and weapons. Additionally, workshops on traditional archery are planned between the sessions.
However, it doesn’t end here as a mysterious attraction, “Knightly Obstacle Course”, has also been planned. Its aim is to test both skills and endurance. Motus has not shed any more details, but all of the above is enough to make it sound exciting.
The camp is dedicated to participants of all levels of experience, even total beginners. Everyone fond of some movement will find something for themselves.
Motus HEMA Summer Camp 2022 will take place in Borovets in Bulgaria at the site of Ela hotel. Upon registration, participants will have the possibility to choose whether they prefer the option with or without accommodation and food. They will also have the possibility to sign up for only half of the event, i.e. three days. The location of the hotel serves as additional incentive to take part in the camp—it is located in a picturesque region filled with mountain routes nearby.
